The Santa Experience – Front of House Staff
We’re on the lookout for friendly, energetic and festive people to join The Santa Experience Team. You’ll be welcoming families, spreading Christmas cheer, and helping make sure every guest has a magical experience at our renowned Christmas event from the moment they arrive.
The Role
Welcome Guests: Greet families with a smile, scan tickets and hand out stickers.
Check In & Organise: Ensure tickets are valid and manage any on-the-day queries.
Assist the coffee van if necessary.
Letter Writing Fun: Keep letter-writing stations stocked and tidy so children can write to Santa.
Light Acting & Guest Interaction: Bring the festive story to life, chat to children about topic created by Santa TBC, help them write their letters, and build excitement before they meet Santa.
Support the Show: Escort guests to the Wishing Well, check stickers, and assist elves as guests enter Santa’s Cabin.
Tidy & Reset: Between shows, restock pencils, paper, and help with any set-up needed.
Assist with Quiet Sessions: Help create a calm and gentle atmosphere for our quieter performances.

A great communicator who can chat easily with children and adults alike.
Confident with light acting, storytelling and playful improvisation.
A genuine Christmas enthusiast, sparkle and smiles required!

Skills & Experience
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with experience in a retail or event, hospitality environment.
Ideally the candidate has worked with children before.
A driving licence would be preferred due to our location, however, is not essential as public transport links are good.
Location: Archerfield Walled Garden - The Barn (outdoor but sheltered area)
Reporting to: Events Manager
Job type: Part-time, temporary, weekend position for dates: Friday 28th November to Sunday 30th November, Friday 5th December to Sunday 7th December, Friday 12th December to Sunday 14th December & Friday 21st December to Tuesday 23rd December 2025
Training Date: Thursday 20th November (paid session)
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm (exact times confirmed in advance) 8 – 24 hours per week
Rate of Pay: Paid monthly (last Thursday of the month) Under 21 - £10.20PH - Over 21+ £12.40
